SHINING A LIGHT
For kids and teens experiencing foster care in Eastern Pennsylvania.
The Kindness Project provides free support to foster families throughout eastern Pennsylvania by supplying clothing, shoes, car seats, beds & other essential items for the children in their care.
Our vision is a community of support for foster families and children.
THE NEED
Children are often placed into foster care with no personal items.
Through our boutique, The Kindness Exchange, located in Emmaus, PA, youth are provided with stylish new or like-new clothes and personal items to meet their most immediate needs.
It is our hope that, by providing children and teens with a choice, TKP may help support their self-esteem, dignity, and confidence during this time.

"The love, patience, and joy that the volunteers took in helping me find the right things and delighting the kids with little extras floored me. Thank you for not just providing necessities, but also love, encouragement, and dignity to those in foster care."
